For generations of students, Hendricks Chapel has been a place of refuge, sustaining the soul life of the University. Chapel programs reach across disciplines to encourage critical thinking about the religious, moral, and ethical issues of our time, creating soulful citizens prepared to grapple with the human complexity of modern decision-making.
Years ago, much of the funding for chapel programs came from local congregations and national denominations. Today’s Hendricks Chapel teaches students of every faith, and of no faith, to bring the heart and mind together. It must raise the funds to meet student needs itself, and welcomes you as a partner in its work. During Hendricks Chapel’s 2011

traveled to London to explore the
complex dynamics of life in a global,
religiously diverse city.
