Stay Connected

You’re Forever Orange!

Young alumns photoJust because you’ve graduated doesn’t mean your Syracuse Orange days are over. And giving isn’t the only way to stay connected to SU. Here are just a few of the other opportunities open to Syracuse University alumni:

  • Come Back to Campus
There’s always something happening on campus, including a whole range of sporting events, lectures, and of course, Orange Central–the combination homecoming and reunion event held every fall. In fact, Orange Central 2011 featured a special reunion just for Generation Orange alumni! Visit to keep up with the latest happenings!
  • Take Advantage of Career Services
As an SU alum, you’ll always have access to free career guidance from Career Services, whether you’re navigating a transition in your career or dealing with any career setbacks you may face. You’ll get individualized, one-on-one career advice based on your particular circumstances, as well as leads on job listings through OrangeLink, the online database for SU students and alumni.
  • Build Your Personal Contacts
Moving to a new city? Looking to establish some new contacts? At a SUccess in the City event, you can network with established Syracuse alumni and other Generation Orange grads working in many industries. You’ll make valuable connections that will serve you well throughout your career.
  • Join Your Regional Alumni Club
More than likely there’s an alumni club in your area that sponsors faculty speakers, career networking events, game-watching activities, evenings at the theater, and more. Check for a national or international alumni group near you, as well as our list of specialty clubs.
  • Check Out the LinkedIn group ’CuseConnect
Are you willing to give career advice to students and fellow alumni? Join ’CuseConnect, a group managed by Syracuse University Career Services. Questions? Contact Kim Brown ’06, alumni programs coordinator, at or on Twitter at @kimincuse.
  • Join the ’Cuse Community
The ’Cuse Community is the original SU social network. Exclusively for Syracuse alums, your free membership enables you to receive invites to alumni events in your area, get e-mail alerts when new issues of Syracuse University Magazine are posted online, search for college friends, submit class notes and more.Generation Orange: Syracuse University's Young Alumni
